Iggy is one of the minor characters in Freak the Mighty. The author, Rodman Philbrick, describes Iggy as Powerful, kindhearted, and tough in hard times .In addition, Iggy is dangerous and Powerful. In the novel, the author reveals that Iggy is powerful when Killer Kane asks Iggy to get him a car he says “Get me a car for me and my boy” (Philbrick #). This show that Iggy is powerful because he can get what he wants when he wants it this proves he is powerful. Furthermore, the author shows that Iggy is kindhearted when “then Iggy comes and grabs me and say you’re ok, you’re ok” this shows that he is kindhearted toward max. (Philbrick #).This shows he is very kindhearted because he helped max when he was running from his dad. Based on the character’s behavior and dialogue in this novel, you can clearly see that Iggy is powerful and kindhearted.
